BJC Health is an innovative medical practice with centres in Parramatta, Brookvale and Chatswood, Sydney.

They needed a web presence which could explain to their public all the aspects of the services they offered - from traditional physiotherapy and remedial massage through to rheumatology and endocrinology.

They also needed a site to keep their clients abreast of their work and as a reference point for information for their clients.

In addition to all this, they needed to be able to update the site themselves using some sort of content management system. They would then be able to add content at minimal expense of time and money, and add value to their investment in the site.

designmodule designed a site with a content management system, and extensive social networking capabilities, enabling the practice to connect with their users on Facebook and Twitter, as well as many other social networking services.

Specific Solutions

Clean, consistent look and feel.
The BJC Health site uses many variations on the same value of blue and orange as in the BJC Health logo, and variations of presentation of that logo to effectively brand the site.

Medium-appropriate design.
The BJC Health website uses fluid, flexible layout to display well on screens of all sizes. A mobile version is also in the works to better display on smart phones such as the iPhone.

Strong information architecture.
Delineation of the various content areas is clear and consistent, enabling easy navigation of site and assimilation of its information. Typographic hierarchy reflects relative values of information.

Dynamic, client-driven content
Pages are generated dynamically from a database and all entries, edits and new pages can be done through a browser window by staff members.
